Mike, it appears that Amtrak is not any kind of sponsor for these Train Day events being held at several other locations, such as Temple TX

Right; they dropped official support a few years back, but some localities are still "keeping the faith."

Will be driving down and back; train 4 hours late, so cancelled the reservations.
