Golden Gate Railroad Museum( Hunters Point, San Francisco) Spring Train Festival, Sat/Sun, May 3,4, 2003. Train and diesel cab rides. All equipment on display, including both SP Pacifics on property (neither in steam due to both needing serious boiler work), Diesel Ghost from the Past--an SP locomotive that has not been seen in San Francisco for over 30 years in operation this weekend,(Newly repainted and recreated, this locomotive will be a delight for Southern Pacific fans and ex-employees), tours of historic passenger equipment, operating model displays.
