Amtrak reservations show the JEF-KCY segment of 301/304 being covered by a bus Nov. 16 through Nov. 21. Anyone know why?

This is due to UP trackwork on the Sedalia Sub. There are a bunch of slow orders on the line now. Work starts 11/16 and goes for 2 or 3 weeks. I don't think they are adding any track, just repairing the current line. But, it should allow the Amtrak trains to get over the line faster. They hit a rash of 25 mph and 40 mph stretches now. The bus will only affect 301 and 304. 306 and 303 are not cut short.
