I heard somthing about a TV in Deluxe Sleepers....Is this true?

In Superliner deluxe sleepers? No.
I believe all Viewliner bedrooms have TV monitors for movies.

I have heard of people bringing their own TV and VCR. Seems like a hassle for what its worth, though.

I must admit that I watch too much TV at home. However, on Amtrak, TV is the last thing I want to watch. The view out the window can't be beat!

CK- I believe that fresh air in the lower level vestibule will beat it.

I'd rather watch Amtrak on TV than watch TV on Amtrak. That's not why I travel by train, and the opportunities are so rare to me I surely won't waste time like that.
You can do it. You CAN live without it. If only I'd realized that years ago.
