Took the Starlight from Portland OR to Irvine CA last week, and now posted a travelogue online. Must warn you that there are 119 photos, and not so much text as my previous travelogues have.

I also plan to revise the text soon, since a lot of it was written on-board the train and have yet to be reviewed. Figure I'd go ahead and post since most of you would enjoy the photos anyway.

To summarize the trip: It was comfortable, flawless, early, and fun!

Great Story Chris as usual. Excellent pictures.

I leave on a Rail Sale trip to Seattle and back tomorrow hoping to have good luck like you did.
