I must "second" that inquiry.

What is a Pioneer ParloUr?

Pacific Parlour is of course something else.

The Pioneer Parlour Car served on the Pioneer (Chicago-Portland & Seattle via SLC) until the 1997 when the route was discontinued. The actual cars were converted Superliner I diners used in place of Sighseer Lounges due to a shortage of them at the time. For more info, visit http://www.trainweb.com/cgi-bin/top/tw_do.cgi?routes/route_25.htm

So it is practically the old hi-level Santa Fe Diners

Looks to me like a Superliner diner being used as a lounge. The only visible conversion is the plastic checked tablecloths.
