My daughter has just taken a job in Walla Walla, WA, so it looks like I'll be doing some traveling on the EB from Milwaukee to visit her. Pasco looks like the closest station, but EARLY morning arrival has me wondering. The timetable indicates you can check baggage - does that mean the station would be open so I could wait inside for her to pick me up if she wasn't there when the train arrived?

As long as it is a manned station, and I assume it is, it should be open for awhile after the train leaves.

My first ever Amtrak trip planned for the first part of July will take me out west to the Pasco station, so if you don't need to know for the next month and a half, after that time I should be an expert on that station.
