Amtrak will be rerouting the san Joaquin around Stockton because of the Sac. River levee breaking and flooding. Where will they be rerouting. I was thinking maybe they would get on the UP around Fresno and head up to Sacramento and down to Martinez and continue on to Oakland. If you know a differnt way Post it here.

I take that back i was looking at a railroad map and they can go down to Escalon and cut over to the UP and get back at Port Chicago.

The National Association of Railroad Passengers website (www.narprail.org) reports that the San Joaquins are detouring via Sacramento.
