Mon. 1st Nov. is the opening of a new GO Transit station: East Gwillimbury. It is on Green Lane, just north of Newmarket - a line which regrettably has only three trains in each direction. I saw this station whilst under construction and can say it is the most traditional-looking new station I have seen in a long time. It is obvious the new station has been built so close to Newmarket for the purpose of providing more parking than what is available downtown.
