For those that may wish to up-grade their coupler sets, here's a few links/reviews that may help.
MR, July 2000, http://www.trains.com/Content/Dynamic/Articles/000/000/000/453hobvv.asp
MR, April 2001, http://www.trains.com/Content/Dynamic/Articles/000/000/001/551ytafb.asp
MR July 2001, Accurails exact scale coupler.
The new KD #78, no review.
During the last 30 plus years KD has developed a complehensive system of 40 different coupler & hardware sets to fit virtually every loco or car ever built.

I used the simple McHenry spring knuckle snap-in on my Riv HWs and tender.
In addition to the KD conversion chart in the Walthers reference book,KD maintains an up to date conversion site. www.kadee.com/conv/list.htm

To get an exploded view and description go to the home page, www.kadee.com and under "Product, click on 1-79 and up pops #s 1-79 in decending order. For example, click
on #78 and up pops the #78 coupler.
At the present time KD only makes an off series patterned after the #5 size head.
