Does anybody know of some good web sites that explain scenery techniques? Mainly roadbed/track/ballast. Are there any good sites that have heaps of pictures as well? Thanks.

I'll try this again: There are a lot of good books out there on this subject. You are going to have to be a little more specific!
You are asking for a complete field of model railroading in a few short paragraphs. I don't think that it can be done using the web! If you want to really get involved in this hobby I would suggest that you go through the monthly magazines - Model Railroader, Craftsman, Maineline Modeller Mag. These are all very good reference books.
Since I don't know your modeling level it is very hard to point you in the direction you want to go! You can contact me through Jays'
Engineering Co. I will give you all the help that you can handle!
