Florida state Sen. Randy Fine (R) has won the special election for Florida’s 6th Congressional District on Tuesday, according to Decision Desk HQ, defeating Democrat Josh Weil in what became a closely contested race in the deep-red district.

Fine’s win will come as a relief for Republicans, who grew increasingly worried about the race as Weil overperformed Fine in fundraising and some polling going into Election Day. …

Probably the notion of a close contest was a psyop attempt.

Meanwhile up North, Elon found out "his loot no good up here":

Associated Press

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The Democratic-backed candidate for Wisconsin Supreme Court defeated a challenger endorsed by President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk on Tuesday, touting her victory as a win against powerful interests and cementing a liberal majority for at least three more years.

Susan Crawford, a Dane County judge who led legal fights to protect union power and abortion rights and to oppose voter ID, stood on stage surrounded by the court’s four current liberal justices and celebrated her win as a victory for democracy while also taking a dig at Musk.

“Growing up in Chippewa Falls, I never could have imagined that I would be taking on the richest man in the world for justice in Wisconsin,” Crawford said. “And we won.”

While there have been some deviations from the path of late - namely Trump carrying in '24, WI has historically been "rather Blue". Oh well, "Trumusk" has found out thay can't buy anything and everything.

Dems happy about cutting into margins by half, actually winning in Escambia County (Pensacola), and getting the W in WI, probably causing a rift in the Trump/Musk bromance. In other news, everyone's 401K just became a 301K, but we can feel safe from the predatory tariff policies of Heard Island (Pop. 0).

Someone else’s “loot” got in the way of Elon’s?

Just about all of the USA’s trading partners have hit us with predatory tariffs long before Trump came down the escalator in 2015. Makes it sound like everything that WWII was fought for has been undone for the most part.
