Heads up steam fans!
The SP 2467 is SUPPOSED to deadhead from Stockton to San Francisco CA
tomorrow (Sunday, Sept. 30). This event should help to cheer us up from the sad month of September. My source tells me that the 2467 will NOT depart Santa Clara(CP Coast) until 2:30 PM at the earliest. The 2:30 PM figure is for the DEPARTURE up the Caltrain line to San Francisco. The 2467 may arrive in Santa Clara much earlier than 2:30 PM. However: my source says NO EARLIER than a 2:30 PM departure NORTH to San Francisco on Caltrain. This move from Stockton to SF is supposed to be done all in one day tomorrow.
There will be NO FIRE in the firebox and both pistons have been removed. This will be a COLD ferry move. This is ALL of the info I
