I just heard UP DS 58 talk to the UP 6017 on
the QRVDO south freight(739PM pacific).
I think that train is in Newark CA now.
The UP 6017 should be an SD60 if my memory of the
UP numbering sequence is correct !

The SP 9806 is also coming north thru the SF Bay area
on the MWCPD train as I type this.
THe SP 9806 was by Corporal (S Gilroy) at 555PM.
The 9806 would be an SD70M according to the Altamont Press
California Railfan Timetable 11 that I have.

Don't know about others who come here but I don't like seeing daily train reports especially by the same person w/ the same message on all the web sites I visit. Here is the site for these kind of posts: http://www.egroups.com/group/headsupcoastfans

Cajon, I am trying to be helpful to any Coastline fans who might be interested in what is happening on the Coast line.
IN your view no one should get any news from the Coast Line or anyplace else unless they happen to stumble upon an egroups list.
The existence of those groups is NOT obvious even if you find the home page at egroups.

I might ask you Cajon why you read bother to read this forum at all if you only wish to get your news from egroups.
That point of view seems to defeat the purpose of THIS or ANY forum because everyone would be restricted to only egroups.

Just remember if you do not wish to read a given posting, no one is forcing you to click on that message.

Yes, I would very much like to see many more users on this wonderful forum so it is not just me using it all the time.
I know if you have patience Mr Cajon more and more people will find this board.
It just takes some patience to wait for the user base to expand.

Can we now return to talking about trains I hope??
Thank you very much for reading my thoughts!

Looks like you didn't have any problems finding the Coast list on egroups Daniel3197/Dan Monroe. You proved my point.
