posted We are restoring the Yakutat & Southern Railroad that operated in Yakutat from 1912 to l970. We need to reach out to organizations who have grant monies available to restore old railroads. We have started the process and have secured the rolling stock and other equipment. The next step is replacing rails and making the system operational.This railroad is of great historical importance to Alaska and to America. We will have a WEB site up in the near future with lots of interesting information. Thank you in advance for your help.
