Hmm... things just seem to get more interesting as the night wears on.
UP DS 58 just said he has a 7800 foot LONG IOALB train this morning.
This would for sure be a non-clearing train on the Coast Line as most sidings are no longer than 5500 feet.

The UP 5283 south just got the track warrant for the Mulford line as of 105AM. The Mulford line section of the Coast Line is about 15 miles long and is located about 10 miles south of Oakland CA.
This train also got permission to change warrants and bulletins from the SP 8668 to the UP 5283. This lets me know that the SP 8668 is a trailing unit in the consist.
I hope this IOALB does in fact run down the coast like it usually does!
