Am interested in finding more information about B&O service between Jersey City and D.C. from the late forties until end of service in l958, especially with regard to its premier train, the Royal Blue. Rode this line infrequently as a teenager but was impressed by the superb cleanliness and personal service. Does anyone have recollections of using these B&O trains? Unfortunately, another remembrance is the light patronage on this line. When did this decline become a serious problem?
