FEBT's contractor has prepared combine #18 and baggage #29 for transport back to Pennsylvania and they should be departing today. FEBT volunteers in the Denver area assisted the contractors to prepare the cars and remove item insides them. The loose items like the removed end platforms and seats were loaded up several days ago and should arrive in Rockhill today. The two cars have been encapsulated in plywood and plastic to protect them during the journey. Photos of the prep work can be found at http://www.febt.org/1829.html . Although FEBT has the funds on hand to cover the move, the funraising effort for these cars is still about $10,000 short of the expected cost of acquisition and transportation. We need your continued suport to cover these expenses and begin the process of restoration on these historic pieces.
