Read a book thirty years ago about RR wrecks. Local library no longer has it. Early RR accident in Cambridge MA killed a pedestrian named Pratt. Any body have "Down Brakes" and could give me the reference the auther used for that accident, I would appreciate it.

Well gee. That looked so promising. I frequent a couple of used bookstoes and will look for the book. Perhaps the author cited the source of the info. Or it might be available via interlibrary loan if you can find a library that has the book. Maybe a local train museum in your area. One of the museum here in Denver has a nice train related library staffed by volunteers who are happy to chase train trivia. Good luck. Ira
