I'm new here, and I was wondering if anybody knows for sure whether the plans and the money are in place to lay a 3rd track on the CSX line between Richmond and DC? I've read that this has been proposed, but I haven't seen anything about definite plans (and funding for them).
This would sure help alleviate the freight and passenger congestion in that area. I hope it's been given the green light.
