St.Thomas, Ontario Canada has come to be known as the Railway Capital of Canada. The St.Thomas Central Railway has restored Essex Terminal Engine No.9. A 1923 0-6-0 switcher. This steam enigne will be providing rides during the Iron Horse Festival August 22-25 in St.Thomas. The Festival is located at the historic Canada Southern Railway Station. On eof six rail stations protected by Heritage Canada.
