I made reservations in August for a trip Nov.23-Dec. 1. Since then I have posted numerous questions --- some stupid some not -- but all of concern to me. You guys are EXPERTS and have satisfactorily answered every one of them. Thanks to you I now have a better idea of rail travel. THANKS!

Having just gotten back from a trip myself, I can admit "counting down" is a very good thing. I wouldn't call them stupid questions at all. However, the most commonly overlooked location for Amtrak-related answers (I'll invent the term Amanswers now) is the back of the national timetable. For anything beyond that, like what equipment goes where and which meals are served and what it's like from actual experience, we're here to help. And maybe have a little fun from time to time.
