The Southwest Chief that I will be boarding at Fullerton on the 26th is on it's way from Chicago as train #3 right now. It's already a bit late and I hope it doesn't loose too much more time on it's way to California.

I wonder what sleepers are on this train? Maybe a Superliner II? Maybe a refurbished I? Well one can hope for the best Anyway, I'll post a travel log after my trip to see if the Southwest Chief is still the "Chief".

Oops, should have been clearer. I'll be boarding the train at Fullerton heading east (#4). The train #3 that is currently running will be turned at LA and head out that same night as #4.
