Where are the electrical outlets located on the Coast Starlight Coach cars.

There are a handful(?) of Superliner coaches that have been retrofitted with outlets at each seat, but such cars are few and far between. The chances of getting even one on your train are small.

I wish there were more electrical outlets in the lounge cars (Sightseer lounge, Pacific Parlour car) so I could plug in my camcorder and use AC power rather than have to worry about recharging batteries all the time....

Really Mr. Toy, I go ont he starlight all the time and they never have outlets

In my last three round trips I've actually only seen one Superliner coach with outlets. They were located a little higher and more closely centered between seats than the one shown in the above photo. They were boxes mounted on the wall, so it was obviously a retrofit job.
