My sister arrived on #11 today. Rode coach overnight from Salem to Salinas. She reports a great crew with a terrific sense of humor all around. She ended up sitting with someone who had been in one of her classes a few years ago when she was a substitute teacher. (Its a small world after all.) Train was about 2 hours late, and the announcements blamed it entirely on UP.

Two hours' delay is not too bad I guess. It is funny how you run into people at random locations.
