The last museums I've been to have Ex-Amtrak Locomotives and rolling stock, and some are being restored and some waiting to be restored or allready in mint condision,
here are some of the most resent:

Those above and now theres an Amtrak Express Boxcar at the Orange Empire RR Museum,
Does anyone now where there are more Ex-Amtrak Locomotives or Rolling Stock?

Johnathan - where was the photo taken that has the Heritage coach and what appears to be Heritage slumber coach or sleeping cars? I still have a hard time seeing all the Heritage equipment go - and then turning toward our northern neighbor and seeing how Via has restored their "Heritage" cars.

There is now an Amtrak F40 preserved at the North Carolina Transportation Museum in the former Southern Railway Spencer Shops.
