Hello, I am currently in the proccess of putting together the first ever Simulated Exsperiance Traveling by Amtrak, useing actual Enviorments photographed from real life Stations, Trains, ect. its like the Virtual tour at Amtrak.com, but it will allow you to move about the Train, This is NOT a game its more of a tutorial for those who are consitering to ride the Train but havnt done so before, it will tell someone who's new to Rail Travel who to recognize for help when needed, who to ask for information, it will have tips for long and short distance travel, advice about the basics of train travel, changing Trains- chossing a route, places on the Train, where bathrooms are, and helpful guides. it starts at L.A., You are the Passenger, the Idea is to get to you Destaniotion and handeling any mile stones along the way, its not meant for intertainment purposes, the up coming version-which will be the first to come out, is a simple totorial between L.A. and San Diego, after that future projects are the Coast Starlight and The Cascades- but Before I release this theres some facts I need to retrieve regarding Amtrak Rail Travel-
1. The recomended time to arive at the Station is 10 minutes before Departure, right?
2.I need to know all about the Baggage policy, for instance which Trains feature Bicycle racks, and on which Trains the Baggage service be differant
3.Also, anything you think should be included to this, or opinions, please post, everything goes together after I decide what would be essential to the final Release, then its off to prepairing for the Long Distance version-The Coast Starlight, then soon after that the Cascades-International Rail Travel, Any Ideas you have would be helpful

1. It is 30 minutes before departure for long distance trains. I would certainly aim to be there before that, especially if any significant journey to the station is involved. Maybe 30-45 mins if you live locally, an hour if you have to use public transport to get to the station. Allow longer if you have to pick up tickets or check baggage (latest checked baggage is 30 minutes prior to departure).
2. Read the timetable. It's got all the information there.
3. Spell checker. ;-) It is a novel idea, sounds good, but make sure it is easy to read, logical, and not bright/flashy/gimmicky.
