I was checking the Amtrak Train Status page and it shows the Coastal Starlate ahem I mean Costal Starlight to be operating fully on Feb 28th. Way to go Amtrak moo la moo la moo(My way of saying move it),so some humor here in this post.

Anyone like my moo la moo la moo humor? This is what I say whenever my train is late it means get a show on the road and makeup some time. People curse and this is my way of putting it nicely.

Actually, I believe this is the first thread to talk about the Coastal Starlight. Perhaps this is the long-rumored train to run directly to San Francisco? [Wink]

I once saw a would-be passenger pulled from the line of folks waiting to board a 4-hour late Southwest Chief in Kansas City. He was a bit distraught and probably a little deranged too. Something set him off and he began screaming at the top of his lungs "Don't shove me! We are NOT cattle!!!!!! We are NOT cattle!!!!

Then he began to moo.

I am so glad that he left with the nice police officer and was not allowed to board the train with us.

Climbing toward 5,000 posts like the Southwest Chief ascending Raton Pass. Cautiously, not nearly as fast as in the old days, and hoping to avoid premature reroutes.
