My wife and I are planning a trip to Chicago early this summer to visit various tourist sites with our 2 daughters. We plan to stay at a hotel in the Elgin area and use METRA's MKE West Line to commute into/out of downtown Chicago. I've looked at METRA's website and have received printed brochures from them which have been very useful. My question is, however, whether we'll have difficulty finding a parking space at the Elgin-Big Timber Road Station on a weekday and at the Elgin-National Station on weekends. Also, does anyone know the daily parking fees at these locations? I have been unable to locate this information online. Thanks in advance for any assistance your might provide.
