I really enjoyed the report, Chris. I took the same route from Flagstaff to Lamy and it was very nice to see the gorgeous red rocks and Lamy station. I am awed by all your travels! Thank you so much.

I particularly liked your photos in and around the Lamy depot having twice been there myself!

Chris, thanks for the great pictures. I have. and still do it, traveled this route many times; both on the train and on I-40. So the scenes were very familar. The photos in one corner inside the Lamy depot were of old Santa Fe RR calendar tops that have been framed. I have several as most are of the southwest and the Navajo or Hopi Indians which are of course indigenous to this region. One note, the location at MP 47 is SUWANEE, not Shawnee.
Keep up the great reports.
