I prefer the Crescent northbound because it allows some 'crack of dawn' sightseeing approaching and departing Charlottesville, VA. This area is always after dark southbound.

I would say both of the Sunset Limiteds. Both are doing very good in time-keeping compared to the Eagle,Starlate,Capitol and Late for Sure Limited. Also both pass great desert scenery in NM, and AZ and bayou scenery in LA.
