Welcome to trainweb, and good luck on your trip. I assume your #29 to #5 connection in CHI is same day since it is not a great risk.

Are you going all the way to CA on the Zephyr? Is this a round trip? Roomette, bedroom or coach? We enthusiasts need details. I just rode the Zephyr Omaha to Grand Junction and back.

I'll be on the Zephyr next month and can't wait.

So ChiliPimp, is home somewhere close to Toccoa? That's a pretty area. Welcome to Trainweb.

The Zephyr from Denver to Sacramento is my very favorite Amtrak run so far. I hope you love it as much as I did!

The Zephyr from Reno to Roseville is my favorite on that run. Welcome ChiliPimp. Looking forward to reading more on your trip. Should be some good snow
