Amtrak's dome car will be in service on Central Coast Pacific Surfliners 799 and 798. It should be in service every day through Sunday. Reportedly the consist is 2 Horizon coaches, and the dome car. The cafe downstairs in the dome is being used instead of a Horizon cafe. No business class seats are being sold.
Also, a single-level Surfliner set is being used. I saw it on train 792 yesterday. Consist is baggage, 60-seat business Horizon coach, Horizon business-cafe, 1 coachclass Horizon, and 3 Amfleet coaches, with an F59 at each end of the train.
All other Pacific Surfliner trains will have 6-7 cars, up from their usual 5.
