Here is a little humor to a delayed train.

Ok Julie I think your tired and want to enjoy the snow.

Check Status,

Do you no the train # No
No Problem I can find a train a different way. What City are you Departing From Los Angeles
What City are you arriving Lamy New Mexico
Approximately what time does the train arrive 2 PM
Is that for Friday or Saturday? Saturday
Ok you are looking for a train from Los Angeles California to Lamy New Mexico arriving at approximately 2 PM on December 30th is that correct? Yes. Hold on...

I found one train that matches your itinerary. Train 3 was originally scheduled to arrive Lamy New Mexico. Due to a Service Disruption I'm going to need to transfer you to a representative. Hold on your call may be monitored for quality assurance.

Ok so the train is detouring to Kansas from Albuquerque skipping Lamy, Las Vegas, Raton,La Junta, Las Animas, Garden City.

It's the snow. BTW todays train from Lamy arrived LA at 4:15 PM due to a diner car problem with the junction box that supplies power needed to be replaced. They also ran out of food and needed to replace it at La Junta. Amtrak is not providing alternate transportation. This will affect todays and tomorrows trains going to Chicago and Yesterdays and todays trains going to LA.

Any responses? How do you like the humor?
