In 1973 there was no Amtrak service in Cleveland. I was 7 years-old at the time and I think we had to drive to Akron to get on the train to NYC. Does anyone know what year and month Cleveland Amtrak service was restarted?

Welcome aboard Mapleleaftrolley!

According to an article on the 'Classic Trains' Magazine website, Amtrak operated a train through Cleveland briefly from May 10, 1971 until January 1972. This train was revived, presumably as the 'Lake Shore Limited', in October 1975.

Here is a link to that article for you!

No problem. We try to be helpful around here. If you're planning a rail trip somewhere, chances are that a regular poster here will have been there and be happy to offer some tips.
