I just accidentally wrote over my entire file in which I kept track of my train travel miles, cities visited, etc etc. What a dummy am I!

Anyway, I think I can re-create it (my Empire Service trips were only estimates anyways since I've done it so often), though looking up all the miles will take time. But there were a few I got from folks here; I wonder if you can supply the info again:

(1) What's the mileage on the Wyoming reroute of the Zephyr (Denver to SLC thru Wyoming)?

(2) What's the mileage on VIA Rail from (a) Montreal to Quebec City? (b) Montreal to Ottawa? and (c) Jasper to Vancouver BC?

93) What's the mileage from Vancouver BC via Kamloops to Banff on the Rocky Mountaineer (or thereabouts)?

Thanks SO MUCH for the input, again.

sojourner, from my 1956 Official Guide, Denver is listed at MP 560 on the UP (from Omaha) and SLC is MP 1026. I come up with 466 miles via the Green River, WY route. Of course, that could be slightly off vis-a-vis today's trackage but it should be pretty close. Not surprisingly, the Amtrak distance between the two points across CO is 104 miles longer.

One of les Canadiens will probably check in with the other mileage for you.
