Have a question.

Will be traveling on the San Joaquin bus, train connection to get from Los Angeles to Reno. Has any one tried checking baggage on the bus train connection?

Another question is that the last bus from Sacramento to Reno does not have checked baggage, how long does it take to get the checked bags in Sacramento.

Hi,

I have done checked baggage on the San Joaquin from OKJ-LAX and everything worked like clockwork! The folks at BFD are very efficient, but since I haven't checked baggage thru SAC I can't say how that works...

I've been tempted to do LA - Reno overland via the San Joaquin so let me know how it goes.

Are you aware that you can do it overnight via Santa Barbara and San Jose?

True, but for those on a limited budget travelling through the night not only saves a day but a hotel room
