"Silver Thread Through the West" appeard on our local PBS station a couple of nights ago. If it comes to your PBS station, it's worth a watch.

The 1 hr program was about the old WP California Zephyr. It also showed a few scenes of the D&RGW Zephyr from Denver to Salt Lake City, which ran up until 1983.

I watched the program, even though I have seen it before. It was very nicely done. My good friend owns the Silver Lariat and Silver Rapids (and charters the Silver Solarium), and those were all featured on the program. When Art Lloyd was being interviewed in the dome, that was the Lariat. It was interesting to see the PV's tacked on behind all of those AmExpress cars!
