From back in October, plans to make the Cardinal a daily train.

Do you think that the ridership could go up by 96% ?
If they did make the change, it seems to me that just one sleeper car and one diner would not be enough. The casino at Greenbrier sounds interesting.

Going to daily service on the Cardinal would require an additional consist (three as opposed to the two which protect the service now) and I'm not sure the additional sleeper is available.... or if the revenue from a daily Cardinal would justify pulling a sleeper from, say. the Silver Meteor....

I thought the newly refurbished cars would be coming on line soon and they could do this without pulling equipment from another train?
