Just reported on WFSB a train from Springfield heading to Washington, DC has collided with a stalled Fed Ex tandem trailer truck that was stuck on the tracks.
Pics show trailer split open and packages falling out.
No info on passenger injuries --- interview with a passenger mentions nothing about any injuries.
Currently a sleet and ice storm is making it's way through CT

Hmmm....and how much blame will be assessed to Amtrak? Out here in CA, it seems folks still think a train can stop like a car
