My wife & I headed to Terlingua Ranch (property owners) and travel through Alpine close to the time Amtrak arrives. It arrived the Thursday we arrived. On the way home on Sunday, we usually saw Amtrak near Sanderson. This time it was east of Sanderson, due to our early departure from Terlingua Ranch Lodge. Here are the before and after pictures, including the new baggage car.

I was in Carpinteria today for a dental appointment and stopped at The Spot for a burger and to watch the NB Starlight go through. It, too, had one of the new baggage cars but NO Parlour Car...
