Hi all, I've just joined the forum. Now retired, am pleased to announce my book, "When Trains Ruled the Rockies" is currently at the publisher, Rocky Mountain Books, and will be released May 24, 2019. The book covers the period of 1948 through 1962 when I lived at the Banff Station and through 1954 and then worked summers as a Red Cap through 1962. Those were the halcyon day of rail travel in the Canadian Rockies. Book pre-orders are available now from amazon.com. (Or amazon.ca)
