Greetings, a new project is underway to restore part of the Old Cimarron & Northwestern Railway at Philmont Scout Ranch in Northern New Mexico. The main purpose is teach young people about the History and the importance of Rail industry. The first goal is to build 2 miles of track on existing roadbed. The only equipment to be used will be Hand Cars, and Motor cars. Also a Telegraph Line will be added, a permenet display of artifacts, and the Visitors will have a "Hands ON" experience helping build the project. We are in need of ANY Railroad artifacts that can be donated, All donations can be a tax write of since it is the Boy Scouts Of America.
