OK, so I did not buy the $10 video from Gargraves on how to bend flex track (wish I had), and am now looking for tips from experienced folks.
I constructed a template to use as a guide to make smooth, consistant curves in the track. My question is around how to mate additional sections of flex track after bending (as the bend causes the rails to be uneaven at the joint, thus inserting another section is seemingly impossible.
If you understand my question and have advise, I would appreciate any tips.
Thanks, Michael

I'm thinking the answer is to bend one section of flex track at a time, use my Dremel tool to straight-line the ends, then join new tracks. Seems to make sense.
Now though, that I have tried curving my first piece of track, I see that it is very "springy". My 42" diameter arch template does not seem to be sufficient to bend a 42" curve.
I toyed with another curve frame with a tighter diameter and was able to achieve something closer to my desired diameter (after the track springs back). Is this something experienced track-benders are aware of, or is there some secret tactic that has not occured to me yet?
.. also I have been having to remove wooden ties as the diameter keeps becoming smaller... normal?
