I get a magazine called, "Northwest Travel". In their editor's notes column, in the Sept/Oct issue, they mention the Meadows & Lake Kathleen Railroad, near Deadwood, Oregon. It is only over 1 mile in length, but very well done:

It is now completed, but not open to the public. NW Travel says you can e-mail Ray Robinson at
kmr3@pioneer.net
...he may then invite you to one of the Sunday afternoon rides.
