i have mrc 6200 only getting 15volts on track
train barely runs g scale its on mode 1
any ideas

First I would look at the power being supplied to the pack. Do lights in the room run dim? Then check the wiring from the pack. How are the terminals? A little corrosion here and there goes a long way towards major problems. Check the voltage at the pack, in both mode I and II. This should reach 18v at the higher setting.
