Model a Section of rialroad that features both. The the choosing game is solved.

For me I still cant make up my mind. The narrowest description of what I model is Definatly everything west of the Mississippi River Back to WWII and selected special intersts from the East. (Tropicanna Juice Train, and Amtrak Auto Train to name a few)

The Fictitious City Union Station!

The coach yards have...

Standard weight Pullmans
UP Domeliner
City of Salina
DB TEN D-zug
DB Diesel TEE

Ya got a problem with that?

John

The City of Saint Louis (UP, 1967) is still my standard for passenger operations

For some, they enjoy the research of it and try to duplicate a time period.
As for me, I am doing a theme based on BN and SF old colors. Here in CO, we have not seen any of the newer colors since BN/SF merged. But that is okay, I don't really care for that color any ways.

Good luck in what ever you decide to do!

Hope you are all having fun!
Take care, God Bless,
