Hi, everyone!

I am also an aviation fan, and visit "PPRuNe" ("Professional Pilots RUmour NEtwork") frequently. That website is not just for pilots, but for anyone interested in aviation. They have many forums, and I found this funny post on their forum for everything not related to aviation -- "Jet Blast". "PPRuNe" is run by folks in the UK, hence the "U" in "RUmour".

PPRuNe is the most appropriate place for a thread with this title, as it really did seem as though it was a recipe for stewed prunes. LOL!

IMO, what the OP (Original Poster) wrote applies to all internet forums.

I do have the OP's permission to post this wherever I wish.

Enjoy!

A seasonal recipe: Stewed PPrune

Method

Take your beef, add one strong opinion, some half-baked ideas, a cup of prejudice and a few grains of truth. Don’t mince your words; sift out any sage advice. Remove context from the prepared quotes, mix thoroughly and season with wild conjecture. Fill a fresh post with a generous helping of the resulting concoction and place in an open forum to ferment. Simmer impotently until all common sense has evaporated, then stir vigorously until heated discussion boils over into bitterness and recrimination.

WARNING: The addition of alcohol to this mixture may cause overindulgence and result in feelings of nausea and disgust.

Margaret, if you think that the Rail Forums have a monopoly on undecipherable jargon, such as all the two or three letter initials for named trains seen around here, as you know so do the aviation related.

While not familiar with the site you note here, I am with Airliners.net. How many times am I running to Mr. Google for help in deciphering some posts.
