How I wish I could be there to help you celebrate your millionth Amtrak mile. But living on the East Coast, and with upcoming travel plans for other trips, there is no way I could make it to Missouri.

I hope the media coverage will be widespread!

As of today, according to Mr. Guenzler's own log, the Millionth is an 'almost but not quite".

I think this represents a milestone of personal achievement and any of us who have the pleasure to "know' you through your site and your postings at the various rail forums will be proud to share with you.

It'll be a party on that train! They might even have to add our own private car!

They should add a private car for Chris. It's well deserved!

Chris you should get a medal for all those miles. Congratulations. Do you have a favorite trip?

See if the Volvo High Mileage Club is still handing out medallions. I saw a Saab do it last October too. Nice job, still!
