Try this one:

I only got 3 of the 12 questions correct. I was amazed by question No. 9......never would have guessed that many.

Hmmm #5,

"Which Amtrak route runs right by the Grand Canyon?"

Let's see...right by the Grand Canyon, well I guess some people stretch the definition of "right by" just a bit huh?

I think the closest the Southwest Chief gets to the actual canyon is somewhere around Peach Springs? But the canyon is still pretty far away, not "right by" in my book.

Hope this doesn't mislead someone into thinking hey let's take the Chief...the Grand Canyon shouldn't be too far away or maybe we can walk to it, since it's right by.

Sorry for the rant, but I would not consider the Grand Canyon to be "right by" the route of the Chief. Close enough for a day trip for sure, but not right by.

Not out of line at all, Mr. Matt Chief; a reader could easily conclude from that trivia question that the Southwest Chief approaches Grand Canyon to the same extent as did the Santa Fe 123-124 Grand Canyon.

Finally, I must wonder if that "sweet young thing" picced (to use you youngsters around here terminology) is actually the sponsor of that blog.
